The Short Version

Your workout data stays on your device. Voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for transcription and immediately discarded — we never store your audio. We don't sell your data. Period.

Data We Process

• Voice recordings — sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. Audio is processed and discarded immediately. OpenAI does not use your data for training.
• Workout text — your transcribed workout notes are sent to OpenAI's GPT API to structure into exercises, sets, reps, and weights. This text is not stored on any server.
• Trainer chat messages — sent to OpenAI for AI coaching responses. Not stored externally.

Data Stored on Your Device

• Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weights, volume)
• Trainer Soul preferences (goals, experience, coaching tone)
• OpenAI API key (stored in iOS Keychain, encrypted)
• Apple Health data (read/write with your permission)

All of this stays on your iPhone. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, it's included in your encrypted backup.

Third-Party Services

• OpenAI API — voice transcription (Whisper) and AI chat (GPT). OpenAI's API data policy states they do not use API data to train models.
• Apple HealthKit — workouts sync to Apple Health with your permission. We read workout history and write completed sessions.

What We Don't Do

• We don't have user accounts or servers
• We don't collect analytics or tracking data
• We don't sell or share your data with anyone
• We don't store your voice recordings anywhere

Your Rights

Since your data lives on your device, you have full control. Delete the app and all data is gone. You can also delete individual workouts within the app.

Children's Privacy

Mind2Muscle is not intended for users under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
